It’s finally here: Jost Nickel’s Beginner Book.
The name says it all: it’s for beginners, for use in drum lessons, or for self-study.
Above all, this book is meant to be fun and hopefully spark or increase enthusiasm for the instrument and music in general. Theory is certainly not neglected but is only shown when it is truly applied. So, it’s presented in easily digestible portions.
The book comes with 414 recorded audio examples 🤩 and various playlists with song examples for different playing techniques, such as ghost notes, rimshots, and more.
